Everyone is together

I have been feeling so blessed in so many different ways lately. Even though we were in the NICU for THREE weeks, which in some ways felt like such a long time. I'm just so thankful that we didn't have to stay longer. I know there are people that have children in there for a lot longer. With that being said, I'm also just so thankful that we are all home together! We are ALL so excited!!

Noah just loves to be around Haley. If she makes a noise he is right there to check on her. He likes to look at her and he loves to touch and hold her. He is such a goo big brother!

Thursday May 6th

Today is the day we have been waiting for! :) We get to take Haley home today!!

While in the NICU I met our neighbor Christy. It was been such a blessing a meeting her. It has been so nice to be able to talk to someone who is going through the same thing. Even though our situations are very different we have still experienced a lot of the same things. I look forward to keeping in touch with her. 

Leaving the NICU

Noah was waiting for us at home with Grandma Jayne. She said he knew exactly what we were doing. He said "Baby Haila" when we pulled in. Noah from the day he met her has called her "Baby Haila." Our best friends are the Haila family. He says "Haley Mae" but if he says baby then it's "Baby Haila" :)  

God has truly blessed us with these two beautiful children.

It's so good to have our sweet Haley girl home. 

She not only was able to come home today but she was also able to go on her first walk in the wrap. She of course loved it. :)

Wednesday June 5th

 

Today is an important day, we need Haley to gain weight so that we can take her home tomorrow. Her and I hung out all day nursing. 

Haley gets weighted in the evening. We have to weigh her before her feeding. If I'm honest I was a little nervous about her being weighted. I had been praying all day that God would help her gain weight so that we could take her home. Yesterday she was 3030 gms. Tonight when we weighted her she was....

3075gms!!!

That's 6lbs 12 1/2 oz That's a whole pound up from her birth weight! :)  

I can't tell you how excited we are that she gained weight! We get to bring her home in the morning

Tuesday June 4th

Today was another hard day leaving Noah. He cries "NO Mommy NO go!" when it's time for me to leave. It breaks my heart every time. It doesn't help that he hasn't been feeling well. All he wants to do is snuggle with me. When I dropped him off this morning we were both crying. I'm getting excited to have our family all together at HOME! :)

Grandpa Kirk was able to come and spend a couple of days with us. :) Noah was pretty excited to say the least.

Bank Children's Hospital has this wonderful playroom for the kids to play in. Noah has gone up there a few times with different people. This evening I was finally able to take him up there and have some god Mommy and Noah time together. I have missed spending time with him. It has been hard going from spending 24/7 with him to not seeing him as much.  

Haley has lost weight the past two days since she has been eating on her own. They want to see her gain weight for a couple of days before we go home. We weighted her tonight and she GAINED 40gms!!!! :) Pray that she gains weight tomorrow so that we can bring our sweet girl home. Thanks for all your love, support and prayers through this journey God has us on.
